Welcome to the StreetWise Driving School Southampton Website. I guess you are here because you or someone you know are interested in learning to drive, passing the driving test, and gaining a full UK driving licence.

My website will help guide you through whats needed for you to succeed, from details on the theory, right up to booking your lessons, so please read on and start learning now.

StreetWise Southampton is the name used by independent driving instructor Keith O’Flinn.

That’s me in the picture to the left. I am a fully qualified driving instructor and have been now for several years.

My background has a very heavy bias towards cars, as I have an engineering degree, followed by fifteen years in the motor trade - working in sales in franchised main dealers, from Ford, Vaxhuall, to LandRover and Mercedes, and a few others along the way. I have always driven a high annual mileage since passing my driving test 25 years ago (2nd time!).

I like to consider myself an experienced driver, but I am still learning too.

As the name suggests, I teach in the Southampton area, anywhere in and around the locations listed below.

My availability is flexible, usually from around 8am until 8pm weekdays, and weekends by arrangement.

For reference, the national pass rate for this test is approximately 43% with the figure for first time cnadidates being significantly lower.
